                                               This is only one site for Train reservation, You have to a User ID and Password to book your ticket. All other reservation sites are also connected with this site only.

Running Status of Train:

                                            Its railway database, we can search train for destination of station, the good thing with this site is that show alternate train option, example: if find train from Mughalsarai to Kanpur, and if no train is available it can give you option for Unnao train also and show you distance between Kanpur and Unnao. Check Live running status with Google Map.


                                  This site is also give you running status but my observation with this site is, not proper work on slow internet connection, and sometime stop working when refresh running status of train.

Running status on Mobile:  

                                    All the way, their best website for mobile train lives status. this site run on all those mobile, need GPRS connection only. Input train number and get detail of train. Drawback with this site; to check status you have to remember train number, no train name option gives.

Rest of above these sites have too many website for train inquiry.                               etc.......

How to easily connect with C.C (Customer Care) on 139:

Many of us hesitate to talk Railway customer care because there is no any direct number of customer care or  if given then time taken or not easy to reach that option. But I am giving you very simple steps to connect with CC.
Follow these:
Step 1:
            Just dail 139

Step 2:
             Press 1 or 2 for language choose ( 1 is for Hindi, 2 is for English)
                       listen option ( e.g: press 1 for PNR, 2 for train arrival/departure time, 3 for.....and so on)
Step 3:
              Press 2 (for train arrival / departure time)
                    Next voice listen "if know train number press 1.....and so on)
Step 4:
           Press 9876543

                    you will listen next voice of Customer executive.
